About Wanderlust

What is wanderlust? That’s a great question. I have loved the word ever since I learned it, as it captures a yearning and overwhelming desire to travel and explore. The word is perfect for me, I have always been a vagabond who gets restless spending too much time in a single place.

Quite simply, Wanderlust Ventures is a company I put together to try to share that love with others, and empower them to get out of their comfort zone and explore. I have lots of friends and colleagues who tell me that they admire the trips I take, and “wish” they could do something similar. My response is always the same – YOU CAN – and Wanderlust is a way for me to help them do that.

So, in addition to being the home address on the internet where I jot down and share whatever comes to my head about adventure travel and endurance sports, this is the home base for a company that helps others achieve things beyond their expectations.

I’ll be posting “official” trips that we’ll be putting together with the hope of getting others to join. If you have an idea for something you’d like to do, please either leave a comment or email me to discuss (I’m open to anything.)

I also hope this site will become a collaborative place for those in the community who share these passions and want to discuss them. That being said, the one thing I’m sure of is that this site and the company behind it will evolve with time, and will be much stronger for your contributions and ideas.
